How do I create an account?

Creating an account is quick and easy:

  1. Click on the Sign Up button in the navigation bar
  2. Fill out the registration form with your details
  3. Complete the reCAPTCHA verification
  4. Check your email for verification (if enabled)
  5. Wait for admin approval (if required)
  6. Log in to your panel and start using our services!
How do I create my first server?

After logging into your panel:

  1. Create a Support Ticket
  2. Select Get a Server
  3. Tell us your game type (Minecraft, Terraria, etc.)
  4. Describe your use case and requirements
  5. Click Submit Ticket

Your server will be ready within 48 hours!

Where is the game panel located?

You can access your game panel by clicking the Login button in the navigation bar, or by visiting:

https://panel.enderbit.com

Use the email and password you created during registration.

How do I connect to my server?

To connect to your server:

  1. Log into your game panel
  2. Navigate to your server
  3. Find the Server IP and Port in the server details
  4. Copy the connection information
  5. Open your game client and add the server using the IP:Port

Make sure your server is running (green status) before connecting!

How do I upload files to my server?

There are two ways to upload files:

Method 1: Web File Manager (Easiest)

  1. Log into your game panel
  2. Go to your server
  3. Click on Files
  4. Use the Upload button to upload files

Method 2: SFTP (For large files)

  1. Download an SFTP client like FileZilla
  2. Get your SFTP credentials from the panel in the Settings tab
  3. Connect using SFTP and upload files

🔧 Troubleshooting

My server won't start. What should I do?

Try these steps in order:

  1. Check the console - Look for error messages in the server console
  2. Review recent changes - Did you recently install a mod or plugin? Try removing it
  3. Check server resources - Make sure you haven't exceeded RAM or disk limits
  4. Verify file integrity - Ensure all config files are valid (no syntax errors)
  5. Restart the server - Click the restart button in the panel
  6. Check server logs - Look at the logs for specific error messages

If issues persist, create a support ticket with console logs attached.

My server is lagging. How can I improve performance?

Try these optimization tips:

  • Reduce view distance - Lower values in server.properties
  • Limit entities - Too many mobs can cause lag
  • Remove heavy plugins/mods - Some mods are resource-intensive
  • Request more resources - Contact support if consistently hitting limits
  • Optimize chunks - Pre-generate world chunks to reduce load
  • Use server optimization mods - Like Paper, Lithium, or Phosphor
I can't connect to my server

Check these common issues:

  1. Server status - Make sure the server is running (green in panel)
  2. Correct IP/Port - Double-check you're using the right connection info
  3. Firewall - Ensure your firewall isn't blocking the connection
  4. Game version - Client version must match server version
  5. Whitelist - Check if whitelist is enabled and you're added
  6. Server capacity - Make sure server isn't at max players
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

To reset your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for reset link
  5. Click the link and create a new password

If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder or contact support.

How do I backup my server?

We recommend regular backups:

Manual Backup:

  1. Go to your server in the panel
  2. Click Backups
  3. Click Create Backup
  4. Wait for backup to complete
  5. Download backup to your computer for safekeeping

Automatic Backups: Daily automated backups are available based on your server configuration.

I'm running out of disk space or RAM

For Disk Space:

  • Delete old backups you don't need
  • Remove unused worlds or maps
  • Clear server logs if they're large
  • Remove unnecessary mods/plugins
  • Contact support if you need additional storage

For RAM:

  • Restart your server to clear memory
  • Reduce render distance and entity limits
  • Remove memory-intensive mods
  • Contact support to discuss your server requirements

🎛️ Server Management

How do I execute console commands?

To run console commands:

  1. Log into your game panel
  2. Navigate to your server
  3. Click on Console
  4. Type your command in the input field
  5. Press Enter to execute

Common commands: op username, whitelist add username, gamemode creative username

Can I schedule automatic restarts?

Yes! Scheduled tasks are available in the panel:

  1. Go to your server in the panel
  2. Click Schedules
  3. Click Create Schedule
  4. Set the time and frequency
  5. Choose action (restart, backup, command)
  6. Save and enable

Recommended: Daily restarts at 4 AM to clear memory and improve performance.

Do you provide MySQL databases?

Yes! MySQL databases are available:

  1. Go to your server in the panel
  2. Click Databases
  3. Click Create Database
  4. Copy the connection details
  5. Use in your plugins/mods configuration

Each server can have multiple databases based on your requirements.

How do I whitelist or ban players?

How do I install mods or plugins?

For Forge/Fabric Mods:

  1. Stop your server
  2. Upload mod files to the /mods folder
  3. Start your server

For Bukkit/Spigot/Paper Plugins:

  1. Stop your server
  2. Upload plugin .jar files to the /plugins folder
  3. Start your server
  4. Configure plugins in the /plugins/PluginName folder

Always download mods/plugins from trusted sources!

Can I use a custom domain for my server?

Yes! You can use a custom domain:

  1. Purchase a domain from a registrar (Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.)
  2. Create an A record pointing to your server IP
  3. Or create an SRV record for port forwarding
  4. Wait for DNS propagation (can take up to 48 hours)

Example SRV record: _minecraft._tcp.play.yourdomain.com

What Java version should I use?

Java version depends on your server type:

Server Version Java Version
Minecraft 1.16 and below Java 8 or 11
Minecraft 1.17 - 1.20.4 Java 17
Minecraft 1.20.5+ Java 21
Modded (Forge/Fabric) Check modpack requirements

Can I run a server network with multiple servers?

Yes! You can create a multi-server network:

Setup Guide:

  1. Order multiple servers (one for proxy, others for game servers)
  2. Install Velocity or Waterfall on your proxy server
  3. Configure backend servers to connect to the proxy
  4. Players connect to the proxy IP, which routes them to backend servers

  • Players switch servers without disconnecting

Can I host Discord bots on EnderBit?

Yes! EnderBit supports Discord bot hosting for Node.js and Python bots.

Supported Languages:

  • Java: JDA (Java Discord API)

Setup Steps:

  1. Create a new server with "Discord Bot" server type
  2. Upload your bot files via FTP or File Manager
  3. Configure your bot token in environment variables
  4. Start your bot from the control panel

Requirements:

  • Bot token from Discord Developer Portal
  • Package.json (Node.js) or requirements.txt (Python)
  • Main bot file (index.js, bot.py, etc.)

Note: Keep your bot token secure and never share it publicly!

  3. Create an A record pointing to your server IP
  4. Wait 5-30 minutes for DNS propagation
  5. Connect using your custom domain!

For SRV Records (custom port):

How do I install modpacks like FTB or CurseForge?

Installing modpacks on EnderBit is simple with our one-click installer!

Method 1: One-Click Installer (Recommended)

  1. Go to your server control panel
  2. Click "Modpacks" in the sidebar
  3. Browse popular modpacks (FTB, RLCraft, All The Mods, etc.)
  4. Click "Install" - done in 2-5 minutes!

Method 2: Manual Installation

  1. Download modpack server files from CurseForge/FTB
  2. Stop your server
  3. Upload modpack files via FTP or File Manager
  4. Update startup command if needed
  5. Start server and wait for world generation
